2009 THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATIONApplications are no longer being accepted for the 2009 Scholarships. We received nearly 900 applications; scholarship winners will be notified and announced in September. If you have not received confirmation that your scholarship application was complete, it means some information was missing from your application. We sent email notices to students whose applications were incomplete including what information was still needed. Some of the more typical reasons for incomplete applications were either that you did not email your essay to scholarships@lookingglass.org or we have not received your school transcripts. If we did not have your correct email address on your application, you may not have received these notices. Five separate $1000 awards will be given out this September to High School Seniors who have graduated. Five separate $1000 awards will be given out to College Students who were enrolled in a college or university and were 21 years of age or younger as of March 16, 2009. We have a limited amount of information on the scholarship for next year. Please visit our website in January 2010 for complete information. As with this year's 2009 college scholarships, the 2010 college scholarships will be for students who have at least one parent with a disability. Two separate scholarship awards will again be given:
